We receive many questions about the difference between our Curlew and Summit range of snow goggles.
So, to provide a straightforward answer: both ranges are high-quality, durable, and provide all the necessary features for a great snow goggle experience. However, there are three main differences between them: the Magnetic Lens Technology, the Frame Design and OTG compatibility.
Firstly, the Summit range features an easy-to-swap magnetic lens system that includes a Premium Magnetic Lens Technology with 20 magnets, whereas the Curlew range has a similar magnetic lens system, but with 16 magnets. Despite the difference in magnet numbers, both ranges are sturdy enough to withstand falls and stacks on the slopes.
Secondly, the Summit range has a slim semi-frameless design that houses the lens in an aesthetically pleasing slim frame, while the Curlew range has a frameless design with no frame surrounding the lens.
Thirdly, the Curlew snow goggle range is expertly crafted as Over The Glasses (OTG) eyewear, offering a seamless fit over your prescription glasses, without sacrificing functionality or comfort. The Curlews feature cutouts in the face foam, designed to accommodate your glasses, ensuring a perfect fit. In contrast, our Summit range does not offer this feature.
Ultimately, the choice between the two ranges comes down to personal preference and style, as well as whether you require reading glasses while on the slopes. Additionally, both ranges feature an interchangeable strap system, meaning that you can easily switch up your look whenever you feel like it.
